Getting ready for your first body sculpting appointment? Wondering what to expect? Here’s a look at how we manage our business to give you a better idea of what to expect at a body sculpting spa appointment.
First, at Cool Renewal Med Spa, we typically schedule a consultation appointment before we start with any CoolSculpting procedures. The consultation allows us to get to know you better. We will talk about your needs, answer any questions you may have about body sculpting and our services, and you have the opportunity to ask us any questions that you would like. Once we have outlined a plan with you, we will then schedule your first appointment at our body sculpting spa.
When you come for your appointment, you will check in with our staff. Once you are checked in, we will take you to a clean, private room for your appointment. Once you are seated and comfortable, a trained technician will place a protective gel on your skin. Next, we will use our CoolSculpting machine to start the procedure.
The CoolSculpting machine will place a gentle vacuum-like pressure on your skin. It will then apply the cooling feature. It is designed to freeze the fat cells underneath your skin. This procedure targets only the fat cells, leaving other cells unaffected. Once frozen, the body will begin to break down the fat cells, making the area appear thinner.
